About stealth, I had an interesting experience yesterday in the crypt. I was in stealth to kill the remaining revenants and two of them were packed together near a column. I was already engaged in combat.
After succeeding a stealth check, I went away from their cone of vision. But then when I finished my movement and ended my turn, something strange happened. One of them started to turn in my direction and I had to make a new stealth check. I found it pretty amazing and thought: "Is it a glitch or they actually use other types of perception in the game to orient the creatures a bit in case they perceive something fishy around them?" Cause I hadn't seen the revenant do that in the previous turns.
I think this is on purpose because some enemies move in a predefined direction to search for the player, I guess. I was playing against the Phase Spider Mathriarc and she would send her underlings to find me after the first hit against her. I had to load and replay that fight multiple times and no matter my positioning after the first attack, the underlings seemed to only go in a specific direction, even though my characters were in the opposite direction. I guess Larian tried to predict from where it is most probable that the player will try to stealth/attack from. In the end, I sneaked up to the boss' back and applied the strategy and she eventually died without actually playing a single turn.
