First off, I really enjoy what the game shows for now (Considering that game is in early access I don't mind at all the little bugs and crashes). I loved the companions, the environment, the plot and I have high expectations for the finished product, but some I didn't like some things (which I'm not 100% sure if some are bugs, experimental things or if they are just working as expected on the finished game)
-Hide and shove shouldn't be a bonus action (maybe with some class feature or feat). Shove really makes impossible for a melee to control the battlefield and in a lot of cases is just too useful to make it a generic bonus action. On the other hand AI doesn't know how to react to a hidden character on combat and it feels weird when anyone can just hide in the middle of a fight.
-The rogue feels really empty. Without expertise (or some kind of replacement) loses a lot of utility. Sneak attack should just be a passive and the fact that It doesn't escalate with your lvl. is just wrong (I hope is just a bug).
-Eating food shouldn't heal you in battle, and I feel it would be better if instead of using it to heal outside of combat you could use on long and short rests to regain more hp(on short rests) and get some small buff (+1 to one check or saving throw for example). This way we should have 2 short rest for day (maybe get some quick dialogue between the characters while drinking and eating on a short rest).
-I like the floor effects (fire, acid, ice, etc) but I fee like a lot of the time half of the battlefield is on fire or something like that, and that's too much for my taste, It's makes me think on Divinity (which I loved), but that isn't the game I'm playing. I think it would be better if maybe less enemies use magic arrows, grease bottles and barrels.
Please don't take this as me bashing the game, this are just my thoughts about how to improve the game.
