Sneak attack actually does escalate with level. They just don't tell you. I've checked the logs with my level 4 rogue. They're doing a weird multiplier on 1d6 (functionally, it's 1d6*((level+1)/2)). I wish they'd roll multiple days, though, that's going to be swingy.
