  • Bigger parties (6).
  • Less barrels, like remove them all except for water, and maybe a few in a lab.
  • Reduce monster HP (use the D&D monster manual values please) -- the current values break spell casters.
  • Optimize the amount of time it takes enemies to figure out what they are going to do. Large battles are numbingly slow as each monster takes way too long to figure out what to do. I'm not playing on a slow PC either, I'd hate to see what it is like on a slow one.
  • Reduce the cost of arrows, or replace them with a stack of (20).
  • Also, add arrows. And a button to auto-recover half the arrows after a battle.
  • The ability to have more than 1 custom companion.
  • Two short rests per day.

I like the recent change to jump/walk where jump uses some of the distance you can walk. Nice one!

Good call on the arrow recovery feature. It is intended to take TIME, however. I have used it in fights where the players are using +1 arrows and stuff and if they want to stick around the 5+ minutes for a search they might get attacked again by another group that is coming in. Might be nice to just limit it special arrows based on your roll, otherwise you get half normal ones back by default or something.

What is the problem you are solving? Does your proposed change solve the problem? Is your change feasible? What else will be affected by your change? Will your change impact revenue? Does your change align with the goals and strategies of the organizations (Larian, WotC)?

Yes, the game currently doesn't appear to have anything like random encounters, but perhaps that would be a good way to introduce them into the game as well.

I'm a bit on the fence about the whole camping mechanics. It does break immersion some, and being able to "go to camp" from anywhere takes a bit getting used to, especially since you won't be interrupted no matter where you camp from. I'm used to having to find a "safe"(r) spot to take short rests and long rests else you may find yourself startled (and unprepared). Not saying the game has to (or should) have those mechanics in it, but as a long time D&D player, it is a bit unnerving. Seems like this would also diminish the need for tiny hut/rope trick as well.

You mean loot barrels ... or gunpowder, and firewine barrels?
I would not remove them, if you dont like them ... you can allways just ignore them. :P
I kinda like the option to turn enemy weaponry against him. :P
