Like I've seen a few other users do, I'll be keeping a list of the small bugs and oddities I encounter while playing. I'll update it periodically as I continue to play. Note that I'm not scanning the forums rigorously for others issues so I'm likely to bring up a few bugs that others have caught already. Gameplay: - Gale's action is spent when he tries to activate many scrolls, before he is able to select a target and cast the spell. Most recently occurred with Ray of Sickness.
- Thunder Wave and Repelling Blast are not generating any falling damage when they knock enemies down from high places.
- Something odd is happening with the duration of Mage Hand: it keeps winking out in the middle of combat and I'm not sure why.
- Summoned a Githyanki Psionics Mage Hand in combat and it was never added to the initiative order. I was able to move it about and knock Dror Ragzlin's entire entourage into the spider pit with it. Haven't tried to replicate this scenario yet.
- Necromancy of Thay book spawned(?) slightly off its intended location, 'causing the room's trap to be triggered. Has only happened once so far.
- Under Blighted Village, had an Ettercap's Web start igniting every time it was spit, regardless of the presence/absence of flame in the area. Was Terrifying. Only happened once.
- Magic Missile is not always correctly indicating when its path is blocked.
- Thrown Splash items are occasionally undershooting their trajectory lines, especially on uneven terrain.
- Ethel not activating at the end of Save Mayrina (assuming this is widely known since there's a tutorial for finishing the quest)
- Enemies are launching Attacks of Opportunity when targeted with attacks that require movement and interrupting that action, even if the movement is not enough to trigger an AoO. (Known)
- Bugbears are occasionally able to attack at the end of their move even if their move ends outside of striking distance (More than can be explained by a racial reach bonus)
- In the very first room on the Nautiloid, jumping from the upper deck can fail to cause falling damage, but then cause your next jump to cause the falling damage instead. Could be isolated to this room or a matter of just the right jumping height. Extra: if this "stored falling damage" triggers during the tutorial jump in the Nautiloid's exterior corridor, the Red Dragon that flies by in this zone can appear suddenly and briefly next to the player, on foot.
Graphical: - Tiefling tails and hanging ponytail hairs (Shadowheart's and the main characters') stretch erratically when jumping.
- A few underground areas (Particularly the lab under Blighted Village) have odd regions where players and various set pieces (walls, objects, etc.) become invisible.
- Found a scroll of Shield of Faith with a scroll of Mage Armor icon. Not sure if this is intentional or isolated: wish I knew where I found it.
Dialogue: - During the cutscene following the Druid Grove front gates battle (Aradin and Zevlor), Lolth-Sworn Drow have a special dialogue option wherein the racial tag is empty ("[ ]") and Aradin's response is cut off afterward. This was noted prior to the recent patch and might have been fixed.
- The racially tagged [Human] dialogue option in Ethel's Cabin is appearing for multiple races (at least Elves)
- Druid Grove Assassination target's dialogue scene is triggering again for Shadowheart if she's in the party.
