I read a post here that until an item has been id'd, the stats are not set. The post said they save and reload to get the best stats?? I tried this with an ax and got the same stats 5 times??
I did get a bow early on ( i think swiped it in one of the shops) that i id'd and at lvl 5 had a bow that hits from 8 - 96...wow, i had to get dexterity of 30 before i could use it but these extreme stats seem to suggest that the post i read might be true??
