Hey, guys,

I finished BG3EA this past week and wanted to provide some feedback:

The good

- I was really impressed by how close the fights were. It really felt like an intense session of D&D (Without the real food, of course).
- I think the characters are well designed. I am supposing we will get more background information and more quests relevant to certain party members
- I really like how your class and race gives you extra dialogue. I hope that your backgrounds can also give you extra dialogue options. My character had the sailor background and nothing really came up in terms of background.

The bad

Honestly, there wasn't a lot that was bad. I suffered a lot of lag in fights and the game crashed sometimes when I loaded a save file, but I am not sure if it is my computer or the game. Either way, I am planning on playing the game to completion perhaps multiple times when the game comes out fully. I did hear that the level cap for the final game will be around 12 or something. Not sure if that's just a rumor or anything similar. I hope it goes further than that, even if it is in the form of DLC adventures.

Suggestions:
1. Can we get some more experience for talking our way out of fights? Right now, I feel that the game rewards you killing everyone over talking with everyone.
2. There are already a ton of races, but may I recommend Kobold? Playing a Kobold bard will remind me of the old days of NWN1 with Deekin the kobold bard.
3. I am hoping that, as the game goes further, you will have more party members available to you based on your decisions. I am also hoping that, based on your decisions, some members of your party will leave and maybe even oppose your group. Could provide some interesting interactions based on your relationship level. For example, (SPOILERS) if you oppose Shar, Shadowheart would leave your party, but you would have an opportunity to get another party member (Maybe a priestess of Selune, in this case) (END SPOILERS).
4. I would love to be able to design your camp. In NWN2, you were able to eventually design a keep. I would love to similarly do that. Maybe your camp gets attacked, but you have previously bought the protection of hired guards.
5. I understand if it may be extremely difficult, but I would love the idea of creating custom adventures with the engine. In fact, there are a number of adventures I think would be amazing if they were made as DLC with the game: Curse of Strahd, Out of the Abyss, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, etc. I think NWN2 tried to give people the opportunity to do that.

That's about it. In summary, the game is awesome.

Thanks,
Level2Barbarian
