Some people choose a name for a laugh: I mean my forum name, it started off bad as a case of "can't think of a good name for my character, so why not a stupid one?" The "why not" is because everyone started calling me that and it stuck. I was in a band called Johnny Dysentery and the Heavily Soiled Undergarments. It seemed like a good idea at the time. etc.
Shadowheart just makes me thinking of that angsty teenager trying too hard to be cool with the goth culture. "The Blade of Frontiers" is a name he thought up with his mates down the pub after a particularly heavy session. Especially as he's a bit rubbish. And so on.
