Disagree, this is something Larian implemented that I really like.
Agreed ... its simple, elegant, and working solution ... If you dont like it, there is allways option to switch to some human companion when exploring dark places. :-/
I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are!
