I didn't know they had mirrored the tiefling party. I killed her while we were fighting the druids cause I wanted to take her place. We don't have the option to take the lead after we kill her. Which is a shame.
But I am going to do the evil playthrough again, this time sparing her and see how it goes.

It's like people in Reddit who want Helsin to be a companion. I mean... Why? She is a somewhat well designed NPC, but you need much more than that to be a companion

Need more Minthara, more, much more and not only to chaotic evil

She is a somewhat well designed NPC, but you need much more than that to be a companion It would be fine to have her be a recurring character in later acts or even just further along in act 1, but only because she needs a hook other than the only completed sex scene in EA. Right now I get a knife in my back for murdering a small town worth of people and losing my most concrete lead to dealing with the tadpole. we are writing this in the hope that Larian will give us a lot more from this character, there is a lot of writing potential and a lot of personal drama Provided that they go through with showing us this instead of making us burn all of act 1 to the ground to find out that she is "afraid".

If you wanna go that route most companions are not necessary and feel forced to have them in your camp. Wyll being one of them.

You have seen this already but; Minthara should absolutely explain the absolute to you. She should understand that you're from the ship and see you as a gift, she should give you the sales pitch on the religion. She should tell you WHY the absolute is building an army. She should show us the humans who are living in harmony with the absolute. Instead of murdering all the tieflings, you should kill their leaders and the rest should be given the choice to join or die.
Even Lolth's drow don't massacre everyone when they take an area. They take slaves, soldiers, etc. The Absolute should be a *less chaotic* force of evil than Lolth, and we should have some reasons why we do things. "Evil!" isn't good enough, that's not a motivation No need to change where she is or what she does so long as you have any reason at all to side with her besides "lol I am evil and a mass murderer how quirky"

I think I defined well her in another thread: "she's a mmorpg quest giver with benefits".

Wait, who is this character? I think I have seen her but im not sure.... This is one of the goblin commanders and a drow companion in the following acts if we helped the goblins The best character in the game is safely hidden, but in the release, the developers should make it more obvious and motivated to find it Perhaps, different ways of obtaining, so that you can meet her not only in evil, but also in a neutral passage 🤐 You can have dialogue with her? I shoved her down the cliff accidentily 😂 R.I.P. potential loot 💔

Although I still don't understand how she sees it when the priests of Lolth rule there

As in, she's talking about as if she was still Lolth drow just to make a point about caring for you, I believe.

Does she say this to non-drow characters as well? My evil playthrough was as a human and she only cringed when I read her mind, then left in shame.

It's so sweet to see her care EDIT: On a more serious note, it would be nice to come to any kind of understand about her and her motivations before cleansing the grove and the sexy times thereafter.

Minthara would make a great party member. Her voice actor is excellent but I haven't figured out who it is. This is my favorite quote from her: https://youtu.be/0x0GiCf4X_g
