CAN WE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY

attach *.lsv file to web bug report form.

https://larian.com/support/baldur-s-gate-3#modal

accepts pictures (that is useful) but does not accept *.lsv file.

In my opinion, as a sysadmin, this is the most sensless restriction i have ever seen on a web form. I've been in the industry for 30odd years. i was there before web 1.0

and no, i will not go throught the dozens of mail i get from support in response to the dozens of bugreport i file. i don't have time for that, or to be mosre specific, i refuse to make time for that.
i play the game thoroughly, (currently on 4th playtrhough) i report bugs *all the time* i always stop to take the time to take screenshotS, describe as best as possible the issue.
i would also attach an lsv file for devs to reproduce the bug (i even tried by renaming *.lsv to *.lsv.png -> web form accepts them but in the reply email, i don't see it listed as an attachement).

So No, dear developpers, i will not take many more time out of my schedule to read through your emails and reply to the ones that need the lsv file.

YOU WILL TAKE THE TIME (once) TO MODIFY THE RESTRICTION ON THE WEB FORM.

thank you for reading.

i have enountered several repoducable blocker and crasher bugs. i will not repeat i will not take the time to send you the lsv file: it's time i don't have.
you will take the 3mn needed to include the string '.lsv' to the list of accepted extensions.

this will streamlin the process at two major points:
- the initial bug reporter will attach the save file to the bug report at the same time he's reporting it.
- the developper who scrubs the reports , who classifies and redirects them to the pertinent teams, will *already have* the lsv file, thereby eliminating another two step process to get the lsv.

I had a bug report where my save was actually bugged so I thought "this is a good time as any to attach the save file" until I discovered I couldn't. Just left the report as it was and continued playing. A little later, they ask for the save file in response. Turns out, I don't have it anymore as it was but a quicksave. Could've saved that save I guess, but I got the impression they just don't want your save files in general. Luckily, I figured out how to reproduce the bug and got back to them.

yeah same here, i don't wanna sift through my save files to backup the one that *may* be needed.
i agreed to the early access state of the game, i agreed and am willing to bugreport as mch as i can, i payed a full price for a game that is not finished, agreed to help to bring it to its gold status.
i did not agree to waste time.

and it is a waste of my time. my time as a bugreporter.

one that can be *EASILY FIXED*: add .lsv to the allowed extensions on the web form.

it's stupid that we cannot attach a save file to a bugreport. it's uterly stupid. there is no context where is see this in any other fashion. (of course i could be wrong, as always, but i just don't see how)

we NEED to be able to attach save files to bug report.

it's the ease of the fix that really gets on my nerves. edit the fracking html/javascript/whatever, add .lsv. and there it's fixed.
that's at the most 5min of work.
and a huge lot of time saved by bug reporters all over the world , and those at Larian Studios who have to look at bug reports and classify them. and for Larian, that's paid workforce time.

we would *all* benefit from these 5mn invested.
