I personally just miss the the voice types in bg1/2. In bg3 they all sound the same and have the same lines. In bg1/2 each had their own personalities and emotions that you could pick based on the flavor you were going for. They had things like "the old witch, the dumb brute, the posh elf, etc. At least will add something to the the characters the brief moments when they do talk.
