First, Larian's statement that the party will probably be locked after Act 1. And second, the hints that there will be 4 more companions to choose from. That would mean Larian has to shove those 4 new companion encounters into Act 1 somewhere, including all the associated camp dialogs and inter-party drama.
So. Stupid.
I wish Larian would stop sabotaging their own game. Why waste so many resources on creating the camp simply to make it redundant after a third of the game?
