I went down into the Zhentarim hideout told zarys I had some info for her, went over and killed her and the group nearby, not the wolf group though. After this I talked to Oskar who apparently didn't notice I had killed them all and is asking for me to buy him. I accepted the quest but Brem is dead and Oskar doesn't acknowledge this.
