So, after a few playthroughs and each with an Alfira encounter with her lovely song, more and more I begun thinking back to DOS2 with Lohse having her own lovely song tied to her story. And I feel at this point it would be a major missed opportunity if a Custom Character Bard did not have their own unique song to fit at some sort of story beat within the BG3's narrative. Hell, it could be the song "Down by the River" (I dunno if that's what the song is actually titled) if it's already not tied to another bardic character. But the more I play the game and enjoy the various integrated nuances for what race and class you play, especially for things like when playing a Cleric of Shar/Selune or simply playing a Githyanki or Drow or Wood Elf, there's a lot of wonderful flavor when playing as those things. So, for when playing a class like a Bard, specifically for the Custom Character Bard--to reiterate I feel it would be a severe missed opportunity to not give them some sort of shining moment as such with a song of their own--make the player truly feel like they are playing a bard as it were. Such an event would also lend further to the Custom Character at times feeling less like a mere observer to their companions' story threads, and truly following along the pathways of their own and actually being a center stage, standout character in their own right.

In any case, those were my thoughts and suggestions, I've been enjoying the game thus far--eagerly awaiting what's more in store for the game.

Me, myself, and I all agree with this.

I agree with this as well.

I 100% plan on running a Bard for my first "official" run of the game when it's fully complete and would like a moment like that. A moment where we reached a huge turning point in the story or connect with our party and my PC can play their own song.
