You can move it anywhere in this level, but can't move it into your inventory to take it outside the dungeon. It continues to function unless you press the button that disarms the room (not shown on video but off-recording it did). Sometimes the grease won't apply again unless the vent is moved. It doesn't affect much since it really could only be used to fight the scribes, but there may be other traps that aren't secured. I'll keep an eye out.
