Hello!
Well, I havent been playing for very long..And frankly Im totaly lost ^_^

Im at the dwarf city now...Well aaaanyway; could someone tell me where to find a merchant? The only one Ive found so far was in alreath..and well..is there anyone else?! And where...Its getting annoying because I have so much equipment.. and I want it all so I wont drop it -.-

More north of the village is ars magicana. A small merchants town. And way up north is Verdistis.

Ars magicana is the best.
In there You find blacksmith Goerge who can identify You equipment and also repair it.Ohters in Ars Magicana can only identify.He was my favourite merchant and I wa teleporting to Ars whenever I had full equipment <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

So you are saying there are only 3 in the entire game, and one dies near the beginning? Bummer. I'll have to go north soon then, i've got way too much stuff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

no, there are like 30 in the game, but only like 5 can repair things. and like 5 are potion sellers, well, untill that one guy fell in his poison mix. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

Ok, then are there any in the Farmlands that I can try to get a decent sword from? Nothing that Alix has is any good <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

Almost any npc who has the ability to trade carries the possibility of carrying something you want or need. Talk to others constantly and see if you can trade with them. There aren't any exclusive merchants who stock a lot of items in the farmlands. You'll have to explore further in the game to find merchants who will stock a lot. This is the best I can do without giving any spoilers.

To find a nice sword, you can go to the dwarf town.
At the north of this town, there is a cave.
You have to kill a lich, then you'll find a sword and a spell book.
At the east of this village, there is something which looks like a cave, and there you can find a nice sword too.
But you have to save the game and try several times, before you get a very good one, with good skills.
If your level is too low, may be you will not get something good.

Ah, the best advice for tougher monsters is: if you're a wizard, "Metheor Strike". If you're a warrior, get a bow and try to shoot elemental arrows and such. In the cave with the male and female assassin at the east of the dwarven village (I am still using that sword), enter, rush to the end, see the cinematic, run to the exit without stopping. Re-enter, shoot the female assassin using the bow, exit and rest on the orc bed, return, shoot the male. when he's nearby, run to the end, shoot him. Repeat.
