I feel like the game would be improved by having single-use (or several-use if the case arises) items disappear from your inventory after their usefulness is up. I hate having a cluttered inventory especially when it's filled with every "a_bandit's_key_00".

I'm rarely confident enough to just trash a key because ya know, just in case... So if the game could do the heavy lifting and tell me I'm done with an item by marking it as such, or removing it from my inventory, that would give me great peace of mind.

What if... you could use the key... to lock the door behind you?!?! And you could have an option to break the key off inside the lock so it would be even more difficult for anything to follow you? (Oh my, it's almost like I'm suggesting the game be like D&D or something...)

I'd like a keyring that all keys get put onto and is managed separately from your inventory.

+1 to the keyring ! I forget which game did that, but yes ! EDIT: LOL, it was in Baldur's Gate :P

Currently my trick is to place all the rings at the very bottom of my inventory, that is below what we see at first glance.

+1 ... we have to ignore that fact that keyring will probably weight much more than whole group together in the end of game ... but it would be nice to have cleaner inventory.

I've taken to carrying a bunch of pouches and bags so that my inventory isn't cluttered with huge amounts of rubbish; the same technique also works a lot better than "add to wares" and then having to transfer it to another character, though is imperfect. I suspect we'll see some changes to inventory management. At least I hope we do!

I was also thinking it'd be nice to also be able to lock doors after us as it seems to have caused problems (e.g. the vendor in the goblin shrine decamping to a restricted area; though she may have teleported there whether or not the door had been unlocked).

Great idea. There is no real reason for keys to remain. Obviously, you can just put them in a container, but I believe your suggestion would be that much more elegant and definitely an improvement.

A keychain with greyed out keys (if used) would work wonders for me. I only ever toss keys if I'm a 100% sure I've used the key in question. I mena, it's not like that game tells you most of the time. It's just the one odd key every once in a while that is branded with something super specific as "Ruined Tower 2nd floor bathroom".

Agreed. For now I've been keeping a backpack in my inventory just for keys/papers, but a keychain would be awesome.
