Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Overall the game's very good except for.......

I just wanted to say to the developers the game was very well done expect for the endgame starting at the watelands. It just became too much of a pure hack and slash from that point.

That last part didn't live up the the rest of the game; however I really enjoyed most of the game and look forward to a sequeal. Maybe in the sequel you'll keep the end game as interesting as most of this game was.

Anyway thanks for a job well done.

CDV rushed the completion of Divinity, so some quests were removed and the ending not refined/balanced. The Larians have commented in various interviews on how much they learned about balancing issues making Divinity, so it is highly unlikely they would do the same in Riftrunner.
