Hello everyone, the title says it all, however, I am also wondering what this next patch will bring.
I, myself, really hope that they fix the hag quest and other quest related bugs. I am expecting a patch next week.
What about you guys?
Ok, I don't know how much you know about software/game development, but it is only one right answer to this:
when it's readyI don't want to be rude or something like that - but it's the only right answer to that question.
You could be right - but that's just a pure guess.
People expect new content, frequent patches etc. and they forgot that this is EA, and we are just 1 month in.
I strongly believe that EA will be more than 1 year - the game is massive and everyone agreed that there is a lot of work to do.
During that time I expect 3-4 major iterations so it could be like a big update - so some huge improvement/change to the game every 4 months - but again this is a guess! We know nothing about plans at Larian.
As much as I agree with the fact that this is an Early Access I don't think the producer can take too long without giving more content.
I get the need to fix errors and bugs and so on, but as other players stated the game is too short lived, I've bought it circa two weeks ago and I almost finished the main quest and have only the Nightsong and the Hag ones to complete
.
By the way I'm a lazy player that is I, even if a bit obsessive sometimes, played the game slowly, even restarted it with a new toon.
I'll buy Cyberpunk, but sue to the fact that I paid for the game. Even if it's an early acces, that is I'm not only paying but also giving a, quite small i dare to say smallest, help with feedbacks and discussions (that is Larian is gaining while doing a sort of massive low level beta testing, can we call it gamma testing? :P ), so I espect them to give me more content, maybe not the final and complete game, but something that maintain high my wanting.
if Larian lets the game like it is for a long period they risk to loos a lot of players, because if we make an exempion of hard core fans of the Baldur's Gate brand, a lot of players want the fun now, fast, and quick, and lack the willpower to patiently wait for almost a year or even more.
