I think Player looks like tag is just a place holder until they do the proper play is with description race tag version.
Or its just there because it is/will be an offer for the disguise self spell.

If it turns out that nearly everyone is evil or neutral I'll join those saying that this is not a successor to the BG series. If Minsc is the only good companion the writers need to create 5 more stat. The "cannon" party was Minsc, Aerie, Jaheria, Imoen, Charname and a wildcard.
