I also enjoyed Sazza and would like a way to get her as a camp follower if nothing else. She'd be great company for an evil run.
As for the romance? Why not? It could be something fun you can do to really squick out some of your companions. Especially Wyll. And DnD has a long and storied history of players having sex with things they really ought not to be having sex with.
