I presume it depends on feedback ...

For example 6 members party, adjusting NPC HP, or adding some conversation options ... those are things that can be done quite fast ...
On the other hand, there are people who are still demanding AI for followers, and realtime with pause combat system ... wich will kinda mean that half of their so far done work need to be scraped ... so i dont presume that kind of feedback will be heared.

I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. frown
Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are! frown

Even that is in my opinion out of the question, at least the 6 member party as that would require a complete rebalancing and UI redesign which I doubt will happen.
I think what you see now is what you will get just with slight alterations like auto-jump and of course more of it.
Larian likely already knows exactly what to add (races, classes, companions) and what not, too and won't be swayed by EA feedback, simply because because everything is already planned out and they don't have time to deviate from that plan. You are basically playing a demo by this point.

So, you based your feedback on the two hour window given by Steam?

Look I'm not gonna lie, I didn't "buy" the game, but I always buy games that I truly think deserve my money. This is literally the first time in 2 decades that I downloaded a game through a torrent website, just so I can get a first impression and share my thoughts.

The fact that I'm being honest about it, should emphasize that I truly buy my games. I just didn't feel like investing 60 euro's into a game that's in Early Access, nor am I the type of person that feels like playing a full game that developers sweated on for years without paying for it.

It's probably not a very cunning plan to admitting to pirating the game on the studio's official website.

I’m using this argument for a while regarding what’s the Larian counterpart for the community feedback.

-DOS2 “we’ve removed weapon durability”. Yes, that’s it. That’s all you’ll get.

And after 3 years after full release Larian will incorporate QoL mods in their system that was created by the community as well.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m also suggesting many things to the game and so on. But I’m not expecting to have this problem solved &/or to have my opinions implemented.

The point of feedback in EA is not supposed to be “hey customer, let’s work together and develop the game”. It’s more like: “I have a project, here’s my concept, could you please be so kind and increase my cashflow?”

Pretty much this.
The EAs where the community has an actual influence are those with no fixed release date. Or when the community is included much earlier in the development cycle like what Amplitude Studios does.
This EA here is a paid demo.

Yes. If they were interested in mechanics feedback they would have asked beforehand. They didn’t.

Larian seems to have a good track record in Early Access and applying fan feedback. Even just having people play the game is of great help to devs (telemetry!).

Don’t expect Larian to drastically alter the fundamentals, but I am sure they are paying close attention to data, feedback, gameplay videos. It is still a long time till 1.0 release and much can be done in that time.
