since larian didnt answer my previous thread, i wanna ask the community which is the current game version _after_ the patch?
gog's patch mechanism is sh1ite and it made me download the whole client (64gb) again, but since i cant see a patch version in the patch notes (an absolute no go @devs), i am wondering if gog installed the current patch or not.

so, what is the game's current version to all of you who have installed the latest patch? thank you

on another note: there's been several mentions of huge fps drops after installing the latest patch. can anyone confirm? (i cant test yet)

I have not yet experienced any FPS drops:

Current Setup:
I7 4700k
16gig DDR 3 Ram
1080 GTX
Mechanical Hard Drive

Running 4k Max Graphics

After short testing, I can't say for sure whether there is any difference in framerate. What I can say is that the problem of texture loading is much worse now. The game takes a very long time to properly show all the textures.

And what about the version? what game version do you guys have after patch?

version: 4.1.85.1780 after patch. I've never encountered the FPS drop issue. Only half a dozen random crashes (usually during dialogue) in 98 hours

GTX 1080
I7-7700
SSD

Post patch.. No FPS drop. Seems a bit smoother.

I think after exploring a little that although the game takes longer to load, it is more stable
