Obviously, Larian does not have a taboo on this topic - we saw an interesting scene with Abdirak in the goblin camp, I think this is not so much a parody as a check on the players' feedback in early access. So, my feedback: I liked it. This fits very well with the dark fantasy setting, and hasn't been seen in other games.
BDSM is pretty common these days. We see that It is obvious that most of the characters have a clear tendency to either dominate (Laezel, Minthara), sadism (Astarion) or masochism/submissive (Shadow Heart, maybe Will who has a difficult relationship with Mizora)
We need more little kink options in romances, of course we don't need them to be obligatory, but their presence suggests itself. This is not at all difficult to account for and implement when writing scripts, but it would be a revolution in freedom of decision making.
