Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems No Shadowheart?

So, since I had to start yet another game, I decided to do something silly. I avoided Shadowheart at the beginning, snuck through the wrecked Ithilid ship and picked up the other three people around the area. I then went through the ruins and came out through the front door, where Shadowheart should've been. I wanted to see what would happen when you meet her coming out the door.

Well, now I know: she wasn't there at all. :O

So, I went to camp real quick to see if she was hanging out there. Alas, she was not.

I'm not 100% sure if this is a bug. Or if it's intended, and she shows up elsewhere. Or it's intended and I lose her for good. Not the end of the universe. She kinda annoys me anyway. But I wanted to find out if I broke something or not.

That confused me the first time as well. It turned out to not be a problem.

She ran off and got herself killed by the 3 'brains' in my last play through. Good riddance I say, I looted her corpse and am wearing her head piece.

Okay, I came across her. So, not a bug. That's a cool way of handling not finding her at the ruins.

Unfortunately, she wasn't killed by intellect devourers. :P
