If you play a female PC, you should be required to have at least one other, married, female in the party with you if you want to have a male character in the same party. If you ever get caught by any civilized community violating this, you immediately drop to the worst reputation that isn't hostile and no one will trade with you until you spend a night in a tent with all of the village women who each say one thing that reaffirms the sanctity of womanhood and give you one lash with the ceremonial switch. In the morning you are considered redeemed but you max HP has been permanently reduced by 5 and your charisma drops by 1, none of which can be restored. But then everyone treats you as normal again.
