I don't really care about sex in a video game... But it looks like larian has a strange point a view about "romance".
Especially because it always start with sex after a feast, whatever the companion.
I think that most people complaining about others talking about sex are being stupid and just need to ignore the threads.
I am getting really sick and tired of this whole mentality that games just need to revolve around violence and generic dialogue where you just convince people in the most basic and standard ways possible.
Sex has every right to exist in video games too and just because it does doesn't make the game porn or mean that the game revolves entirely around it.
We're playing an 18+ video game, we're not at church.
But this is actually a genuine criticism I have too.
I heard people talk about how mature the romances were in this game but then when I got to that part in camp literally everyone wanted to sleep with me completely out of nowhere it wasn't subtle at all.
There's characters where it actually makes sense, Morrigan in DA:O is a good example of this and it was actually written into her character.
But I do think that in this game it really comes out of nowhere and is quite sudden, there's no real build-up towards it.
I don't think that there necessarily needs to be, sex can still be quite random.
Casual sex is fine, it's more about how it's everyone at the same time and how it's handled that feels weird.
Just add the option to disable.
What would be the point? You literally have to go out of your way to make it happen.
