The last line is the main reason I have a problem with Shadowheart as a character so far. Lae'zel can be a b**** to you but at least she can back it up with strength, and she is generally an honest charachter. Shadowheart is just nasty to you with nothing to make up for it. You just have to put up with her with the hopes that she might become interesting later down the line, but I see no reason to pick her over another companion.
