You can sneak past them.
After killing the hag you can go back to those with the masks.
They won't be under the influence anymore.
1 of them will tell you they will go back to their old life.
Others are totally brain-damaged. Literally, they repeat the same sentence over and over.
One of them will attack you on sight.
One of them tells you " take that mask off!" and attacks you.
If you knock them down mid fight you can open the inventory and find the mask.
You can't take it out of their inventory.
You can't save them. Their new lives aren't coded yet XD
