imo, and i may be in the minority here - but i wouldnt actually mind a more extended ea period if it meant larian was able to implement some additional features that are usually highlighted here on the forums. my no.1 would be the 6slot party option, but otherwise i would hope larian would be able to identify which elements of feedback are both most critical and most viable to implement at this stage, and even a 6month-1year extension wouldnt be a big issue for me considering how big of a franchise BG is (also the whole global pandemic thing). also, if larian releases new classes/races intermittently during ea and maybe bumps up the lvl cap to 5 i think that would work against any feeling of staleness during an extended ea - particularly if changes made during any extension were community driven
