It sounds to me like the early access shouldn't have been released yet then, and we are doing a big part of the testing and paying for it, saving tons of money for the development.
I wouldn’t confuse player feedback and data, with QA. While a huge amount of player on variety of systems is likely to uncover bugs QA might miss, a boon of player feedback is different.
The point of EA is for players to test the game, complain and make it better. There would be little to no point to EA if Larian couldn’t impliment needed changes.
