I've personally been helping with documenting a lot of feedback, so for what ever effect my word is worth, the walls of text, pages upon pages are there to be read, processed and discussed. Enough to know it will take some time to actually go through all of it and do it proper justice, and not hurry out a blanket statement "just cause". There are so many good ideas and fantastic feedback, so it'd be a shame to not process it properly!

You are almost giving me proper hope.
I know I'm going to regret it.

imo, and i may be in the minority here - but i wouldnt actually mind a more extended ea period if it meant larian was able to implement some additional features that are usually highlighted here on the forums. my no.1 would be the 6slot party option, but otherwise i would hope larian would be able to identify which elements of feedback are both most critical and most viable to implement at this stage, and even a 6month-1year extension wouldnt be a big issue for me considering how big of a franchise BG is (also the whole global pandemic thing). also, if larian releases new classes/races intermittently during ea and maybe bumps up the lvl cap to 5 i think that would work against any feeling of staleness during an extended ea - particularly if changes made during any extension were community driven

I mean, of ALL the features that could take a certain amount of work to be implemented, a six-men party is arguably the least challenging one.
If they only wanted, Larian could have it up and running as an extra option in a matter of HOURS.

In fact, it's basically already in the game, except it requires some unorthodox savefile editing or the creation of a 4-players multiplayer session (plus NPCs) to be unlocked.
Which in my opinion just makes it even more annoying that they are not giving it a chance as a publicly available option to see what people like the most. Four or six.

I wouldn’t confuse player feedback and data, with QA. While a huge amount of player on variety of systems is likely to uncover bugs QA might miss, a boon of player feedback is different.

The point of EA is for players to test the game, complain and make it better. There would be little to no point to EA if Larian couldn’t impliment needed changes.

Thank you, this is reassuring. It's good to hear that our feeback and suggestions aren't just... ornamental to this forum. The next few months will show how Larian actually react after compiling and considering the feedback - and will be crucial in building player trust in Larian making meaningful changes.

I apologize in advance for a ridiculously long list of suggestions I'm going to post... eventually. laugh
