Sorry for reviving this topic but I have something on topic to say to about character creation .
I know far too little about riftrunner, but because now there is a engine I guess this will be used with some improvements.

So I wonder if the type of character you choose to play has an effect on the skills you can use?
I'll explain: In every way had 4 paths, and every way could use all the paths of the other ways. So the only reason for choosing a way was the special move and the 5 extra points in a certain ability.
Wouldn't it be nice if a warrior had one path that only he could learn from? Let's use the weapon expertise path in as an example. That way the other ways could learn the other warrior paths, but there would still be a fair advantage for playing a warrior. Same for the wizard, maybe the elemental path could be exclusively for him, with the powerful meteor strike and such ... For the survivor the lockpicking,... path.

I'm just saying this because I'm playing again now, and I'm already considering which character I'm going to play next, but I don't look at what kind of character I'm going to play (which will be a mage like) but on the way the avatar in the game looks (because I want to play a female next time ) ...

If you understand what I mean ... what do you guys think about this?

And sorry if this is posted somewhere else, but at least I didn't start a new thread
