Meh. I feel like all this stuff can be in a player's head. I don't want to have my interest tell me to pee on them or treat them like a poodle. That will definitely ruin it for me. People's kinks are a bit random and not decided by culture or gender or personality, so any romantic partner could have any kink, but by forcing a kink that romance would be less desirable to many. I liked Iron Bull as a character in DAI, but when he told my character he HAD to dominate them I was very disappointed, especially because my male/male romance options were very few.
I found it amusing how Iron Bull threw in criticism of breastplates curved after a womans chest when speaking to Cassandra, but then he literally runs into battle half-naked himself.
What makes it even more bizarre with people treating it as some '' hell yeah '' moment is that he was essentially literally praising her for '' being a man '' if I remember the lore correctly.
The Qunari literally view women who fight as men regardless of sex.
So yeah, a male Qunari hypocrite running into battle half-naked whilst being incredibly critical about the '' dangers of female breastplates '' ( in freaking Dragon Age ) praising a woman with short hair who's perceived as butch for being a '' manly man ''.
The dude was a douche for so many reasons and the misogynistic undertones went seemingly unnoticed and were instead praised lol.
