There is a screen shot in the
Larian/Silver armour-screenie-spoiler topic showing what they are suppose to look like in your inventory. Drag a stack out of your inventory and hold the control key down before dropping to get a split stack pane to pop up. You may need a few tries to find the correct 4 pieces of rope.
