Not sure if this is a bug or a hidden feature, but on the Nautiloid in the tutorial, you can push the corpses of the NPCs you haven't killed off the Nautiloid and get full xp from them (10xp for imps/devourers and 1xp for thralls). I've got a vid from my stream last night:

It's not too game breaking as it helps the push to level 2 before the first devourer fight on the beach, but I'm not sure if it's intended and I didn't see it mentioned when i searched the forums. Just thought I would let you know!!
