Don't be reductive. Romance is very much the wrong reason to motivate players towards certain dialogue options, I am definitely not the only one here who in their dozen or so playthroughs so far did a "
say everything companion XYZ likes" run just to get to their sex scene. There is a subset of players that does nothing but play the game this way and Larian should be jeopardise the game's quality by catering to them.
