Sorry- fan of Baldur's Gate and D&D...been playing since 1st edition. And no, I'm not giving up on the game or jumping on your negative bandwagon. Just because is doesn't meet YOUR definition of what BG3 should be, doesn't mean it fails mine, especially during EA.
I am also big fan of BG and DnD and I also really stand my point that this game should not be marketed and selled as BG3 based on DnD 5e. We are creating bad habit and bad acceptance of what developers are delivering. Regardless of the fact, wheter the product is actually good. And it is good. But imagine a situation you buy a bottle of really good whisky and it happens to be really good wine. As a consumer, you have two options: return the bottle and demand either change of concent or change of label - or silently accept good wine. If most customers accept the good wine while being selled as good whisky we created pretty weird environment, don't we?
