No, just no. WoW gnomes are not representative of D&D gnomes. They are an abomination.
By the way, there is a svirfnebli already in the game and, thankfully, he does not sound at all like a WoW gnome.
I wasn't talking about WOW gnomes specifically (I've never even played WOW or any other online game for that matter) I was just looking for a voice examples and that was one that I found that fit. All gnomes sound similar in all games.

Jan Janson all have a specific helium like voice that is for some reason associated with gnomes. Even when you go through the voice sets of BG / IWD you can find voice sets that seem most suitable for gnomes. (I have no idea which voice set is from which game anymore because I've always modded them all into each game.)
