Ok, here's a few of my suggestions:

1) Ability to kill everyone. ESPECIALLY annoying 12-year old dukes with irritating voices. ARGH I hate that kid!

I thought about this suggestion, and maybe for you guys this wouldn't be possible as it would interfere with the story. So I suggest that you get the ability to kill everyone as a bonus option after you beat the game. And a warning before you kill an important character.

2) Weapons like the straw hat, knives, spoons ect. should be visible on your character. Also, characters without equipment should be naked (or possibly in underwear). That way I can attack dragons with a bucket on my head, and a spoon in my hand, in my underpants.

3) Extra features after you beat the game for increased gameplay.

4) Ability to keep on playing after you beat the game.

Please concider these suggestions, as I think they'd increase the gameplay value of the game. Thanks.

yes that was a major dissapointment too!
when i first saw the dragon shield in stormfist castle.
it had that beeautiful green color and a nice symbol on it. when i equiped it it was just that blue shield you always see.

so: every type of weopon has its visual effect on the character

and when you ran with a 2 handed sword you couldn't see the animation of it. you saw the sword on your back.

what i realy liked on the screenshot was that big huge axe! wow. this would be great if you saw those big orcs, with the big axe in (giant orcs?). and you slay it , the axe you pick up had to be the same size

yea dude, I want to see the visual effects of all the stuff I carry and wear like armor & weapons. with all the details this game has, why did this important part got left out? I mean the player sees the character 100% of the time he plays the game.

Oh, is it possible to shorten the save and load times? I mean it is quick save is it not? Why did it takes so long for this game to save and load? With the randomize stats of this game for weapons and stuff, I did alot of this and I bet other players did this too. My pc is 2.5 times the min requirement, so I don't think it is my pc.

Oh, why did the gold charms start to drop like rain at the end game? By that time there really is no point for them. I only got 4 gold charms after I completed all the quests before I became the divine one, by now there is no need for them or all the charm alots are filled with lesser ones. So could it be change so that charms are drop randomly, not according to monster level (with the way the game is set up, there is no way to get gold charms before the end game)so that they will make a difference, not becoming useless.

Um I play at the normal difficulty, so could that be the reason, for the charms?

I agree about the weapons and armor appearance, and the save and load times are a little ridiculous. I think this is because the program rewrites all the files in the savegame sub-directory (each savegame receives its own folder instead of file), and each file is uncompressed and large in size. Perhaps a more efficient way of saving data is needed without sacrificing the level of information saved (various objects in the world and their status, etc).

ZLib I'm using it for years in my own programs. Fast, stable and easy to use. Open Source, but not GPL. BSD-License, so everyone can use it, even in non-open-source-projects. Compresses a 70 MB divinity savegame (just before the final endboss) to 9 MB. On medium compression level that is.

I just love this peace of pure genius ANSI-C code
