Criticism isn't necessarily bad. If someone is never critical of something then you know that person has rose colored glasses on (no pun, swear it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> ). I don't really like the long combat sequences myself, but I do love it when I grow from a 2-damage dealing sucky 1st level newbie to a 350-damage every second 30th level hero. I think there should definitely be more tactics involved with spells as you said in another thread CP, but at the same time I kind of like the "shake down the whole screen armageddon" effect sometimes.
