This is a game that players will play through multiple times and it would be cool addition to see gamemode where you cant load save game to roll again on anything.

In specific: rolls could be recorded to a file as you play through the story and when you roll on something, then load saved game and go roll 2nd time, game remembers that your character has already rolled this specific roll once before and gives the exact same roll result which you got in the first place. (or skips the roll completely and tells the result right away)

So when you start new game, you could select this option "no rerolls". This way you wont feel tempted to try again smile

I like this idea for an option. I've been impressed that, while they aren't rewarding, failing a role in Baldur's Gate will sometimes have, at least, interesting results. If they do an Iron Man mode, I don't see any reason that this couldn't be added to it.

+1 agreed, find below commentaries of the type: "if you don't like it just don't do it"

Well, there will be an ironman mode with only one save on release. Pretty sure for that.

I don't get it. It seems like unnecessary work to implement some option, that has no real use, since you can already achieve not re-rolling with everything that is already there.

That’s the mode I play now .... success is great, failure is great ... it’s what makes D&D ... sometimes you win & sometimes the hook horror punts you off the cliff ....

Brilliant for replay ability too
