Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Clearing the Land...

I was wondering if anyone else could not "clear" the land and the lakes in the Dark Forest and Wastelands. Is there anyway to do this? I found this part of DD very disappointing. One of the reasons I like RPG's of this type is the ability to uncover areas to see what's next. In other words like the Rivertown map... you can uncover every single spot of black (except for a couple of spots). Is it possible to do this re: DF and WL? If not, this and the incredibly boring ending are the only two major complaints I have about DD.

Thanks... It was cool to see, but I still wish there was I way I could actively uncover all areas myself... trudging through the swamps... climbing onto the plateaus, swimming across the lakes (or they should let you become a ghost earlier in the game so you can float across the lakes to clear them)... Thanks again.

i thnk elven sight or ranger's if cast twice

Elven/Ranger Sight are passive sight range bonuses; you are thinking of Wizard's Sight. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

just walk next to to a cliff in the dark forest, and chuck a' teleporter up there.

I'll try that... this is my 3rd time through now, so I know how to use some tricks.......
