Great suggestions!
My only issue is with your #7; I like being able to buy back things I sold. It makes me less hesitant to sell things, which helps de-clutter my inventory.
A compromise is: things you sell only show up on the merchant's "wares" screen, and thus don't contaminate the regular items they sell
