Sorry if those are already discussed but here my thought about this game. Being a dd addict for almost 20years , i coudnt resist this game. in a overall, i must admit im really impress of how well the game flow but i have a few things thats ive notice that could be added, quality of life while playing and a few ''unlogic'' things. if you want to comment, please, add the number in the beggining so its easy to know about which part you're talking about. after aroudn 20hours in game, heres my list of thing i thought, since its a early access, would be good thing to adjust.

im french at first, so maybe my translated name of spell isnt right or my grammar isnt right , so sorry if theres some mistake (yeah im canadian too ;P )
if a mod know that theres already a topic about a point, can you give me the link to it please. since a have a lots of point, i didnt want to go throught all the forum.

1 : dialogue option while being in multiplayer : i've notice thats once i've launch a dialogue, any dice roll will ALWAY be made by the character who join the dialog first and the class special dialogue is only the one of that character, in solo game its allright to limit the playthrought to the class option of the character you've decide to made, but while in multiplayer, i dont see why i need to make that untrained medecine roll instead of the clerc my friends have made who is standing right behind me. it could make the game more online interactive, instead thats the other player are simply spectating the chat.
8a : Maybe the roll should be made with the one with the highest affinity, or a vote for which one gonna do it. a vote might slow the pace of the game but will help to chose if the wizard who use friends on a npc or the one trained in persuasion should do the throw.

8b : adding other player character option so they kinda join the dialogue might be a option isteand of the : oh i would need a clerc to heal me *while he is on stand by in the background telling to himself ; well im a clerc but the warlock talk to him first. adding more flavor to the storyline.

8c : help another : base on 5edition, a character who is train in a skill can give advantage to a friends on a roll, why not use it here?

8d : the only way to know someone is talking to a npc is the small bunble above is head, if you are not ready to click on your friends when it start, you can miss a part of the dialogue(kinda sad in a story base game) would it be possible to make a autojoin dialog function if you are close enough? i mean, you're standing 5 feet away but didnt hear him, really? or a highlight to show thats he is talking to someone around on the character face of the lower left group section instead of a small bubble.

2 : illithid VS demon commander : yeah you are not suppose to win, i get it, but after a few try, with the right character ive been able to kill the ilithid, the demon commander and the 2 cambrion spawning later in the fight. heres how ive made it :
first : im starting with a warlock. eldritch blast and hex.( ive tried with a clerc, but healing the illithid is a bad choice since he turn on you once the demon is dead) id rather help him touch the demon than helping him to survive so the warlock was the best choice.
third : you actually NEED the brain thingy to get those imps down faster (gith + brain on a imp, and warlock on another to shorten the time you waste getting ride of the imp.)
second : gather every damn explosive barrel and once the imp have died, place them all around the stair waiting for the cambrion, note : they need to play BOTH before you so they both move inside the trap at the same time : i didnt notice if i need or not a fire spell to ignite the explosion, on my first trial i had a mage, thats when ive decide to hunt those ?!#$%@, then i drop a firebolt scroll. if you play it right, the cambrion will be down to around 11hp.
third : while battling , make sure to hex the demon (idk exactly witch spell the illithid use, but i used int and it work pretty well) then use a haste potion to GATLING ELDRITCH on his face.
fourth : DISENGAGE AS SOON AS THE DEMON DIED toward the command console. the illithid turn on you, but you want to use him to help you against those pesky cambrion. they seem to attack your team first unless they are in melee. so keep the small brain closed then if the dm is on yours side, the cambrion will get into the brawl. disengaging the brain to stop the cambrion if they try to go around to attack your warlock.
heres i am, hovering over that feeling of joy , ready to loot, then ive notice 2 things : No exp , no loot, got 2x white 2h sword from the cambrion and ... thats all? is it because its a early access or nothing have been planned if the character win the fight? because the illithid do have a line for when the demon died.

that said, thats bring me to my next point :

3 : inventory : overall, i like the setup that you can carry chest and use them to manage your inventory(with backpack and pouch) but while travelling with a backpack containing enugh explosive to bring a fort down, ive notice thats no matter how heavy a thing is, you cant take them up with a 8str char, but you can transfer it on your inventory between character, and thats, no matter how far you are, no matter if you are in battle or not.
3a: isnt a range for inventory transfer a good idea?

3b: would it be better to put restriction on carried object base on your total weight? yeah you cant move, simply drag it on someone else, play the round, drag it back. Also, i coudnt take the chest because it was too heavy, so i just have to take the fighter to put it in my backpack.

3c: transferring in battle is illogic too unless you're close to the character you are trading with. since theres no restriction ; hoard the usable object on you stronger char and take it only when you need them. no preparation needed, taking down a part of the strategical aspect of this game.

4 : hoarder mode activated : kinda related to point 2 but its more of a quality of life feature that might help the hoarder in us : DRAGGING INTO BACKPACK. woudnt it be a great feature, if you're cleaning your inventory of all the spoon you've gather by simply dragging them into the junk barrel? i understand the part to switch the item when you drag them over the other in your inventory, but if the barrel is open, why cant i simply drag it on it inside my inventory instead of sliding them one by one into the small pop up window that scroll up every time ive put an item in my overflooded junk barrel? unless you place it so it ''add'' a new inventory line, it alway go up. its so frustrating, and i cant believe that im the only one getting pain in the dwarf when, for the 784 time, i have to put down my spoon to roll down to a open square, and take it back to drag it.

5 : container : it would be a great feature for the hoarder like me to keep a clean camp chest by being able to put a tag one which of my chest contain which kind of object instead of opening them one by one to make sure thats im taking to right one.

6 : equip tool : ive notice that i can use a shovel, havent try the fishing rod and the pickaxe seem to be a weapon. why isnt the shovel considered as a weapon? it will put them appart from the smithing hammer and other tool like junk? and if you are digging up and get attack you need to switch what you are holding. i must admit , i havent play trought the whole story because ... too many character... so idk if theres a time you can be caught gravedigging ... i carried that backpack fill with adventurer tool and dont even know if i can use them. rope, hammer, magnifier, plier. i keep one of them IN CASE i need them. but realy, i just feel like wasting space in my inventory for most of them.

7 : save : its a choice base game : we WILL have way too many saved slot, unless you're a psycho that simply goes with the flow wink and with every autosave taking a new slot each time. maybe if the save were gather by character might help to not overide your sologame with your multiplayer game?

8 : hide : heres i am , all party sneaked up, trying to take thats owlbear in a pincer attack, moving everyone in sneak so the can get close enough. SNEAK ATTACK!, fight start, aannnnnd no surprise attack for the hiding teammate because since they are sneaking, they dont take part in the fight. did i miss something? i understand the part where they arent in fight, but since its a video game , you cant tell the dm WAIT, wyll do that in is surprise round. i was wondering if, even thought they arent in the fight, would it be better that they are put first in the round until they join the fight?
for the sake of me not remembering every character name and i dont want to ruin theirs name, ill go with classe.
ex : fighter attack the monster with a bow
thief warlock and clerc are put with 99 ini so they can act in the beggining of the round until they take part of the fight. as if they are using theirs action to ''delay'' until they are suppose to act.
monster move to the fighter since hes the only one in the fight
fighter: *disengage*
thief ; sneak attack
warlock activate the explosive barrel
clerc : ready to heal the fighter or attack according to how things turn out.
normally, you would disengage with the fighter, then move to the other character before ending the action. it could prevent a lots of ''Ragereload'' because once i press the end button, everyother char lose every action they could do because im ''use'' to press the end button once my character have end is move. thats aside : i kinda answer myself on how i should play it, by not pressing end and switching between character, but ive wrote it, so i will leave it here to get some feedback. well, maybe a pause option may be good for when you switch character . like the lured monster walk between the barrel. instead of timingly shoot the barrel when he is closed enough, to round ''pause'' the monster to give you time to do your suprise attack.

9 : switching character : unless you know the button or reconfigure it , switching between character in the round can be a pain in the dwarf, idk if its a bug, but i need to spamclick my character until they have the white highlight, because double click dont seem to work.

10 : yeah my last point, finally. Its an early access,i know, but ive notice that the tiefling taill seem to get ''particle collision'' bug while jumping down cliff with rock or other detail, i often notice that the tail is stretching dramaticaly until it manage to free itself from where its stuck.
