I actually did try a few statues that I had (cat, spider, even another frog) but I didn't transform into any of them.
I guess once you are polymorphed by a trap, the effect is permanent and you can't change it.
I even tried full restoration potions but that didn't work.
I also found out that as a frog, you can't use teleporters or go back up stairs.
I thought maybe going outside into the sunlight might transform me back
