Well - I kinda doubt it.
Cambions tend to be more powerful as most Mortals. Tieflings are around the same.
Cambions seem to be unable to leave the Nine Hells without being summoned by a Mortal first. But Tieflings do not need this.
Cambions are loyal to the Nine Hells while Tieflings seem to feel no personal attachment to it.

I also believe Tieflings are not truly accepted as Infernal beings, or are seen on the same level as those little flying Fiends and stuff. Aka "tu~raa~ash" !! grin

And maybe this is just me but Cambions always seem to have a red or purple skintone ( with Wylls Devilchicka included ).
But Tieflings variety into a wider spectrum of colors.

The difference between a Cambion and a Tiefling is often debated, personally it would seem to me that the difference is that a Cambion is in some sense more heavily embraced by its infernal parentage... raised in the hells, and its powers nurtured until it achieves full fiendhood.

Something like that, I just think it is weird that this game is treating it like they are the default fiendish entity.

To be fair, Devils are for the most part former mortals anyway. I have suspicion that if we go back far enough even the big name devils and demons are former mortals.

If I'm not mistaken, some "big names" are specifically said to predate mortals, but most of them? Started from petitioners.
