I think one point you're overlooking is that Larian's two previous games also had a party size of four.
We aren't overlooking it at all. We simply aren't happy about it.
Eh, I guess overlooking isn't the right term to use. I wasn't really referring to the players' response to Larian's decision, but rather the decision itself. What I mean is just that I'm fairly certain the reason I listed was one of the reasons Larian decided to go with a 4 party size for BG3.
