When combustion engines eventually go the way of the horse, all cars (assuming they are not just relegated to non-interactive, self-driving meat conveyors) will be electric and .... goodbye manual clutches. Still, we will probably still be able to buy exciting and involved cars. Even if they are electric. I had an RX8 in which the gear box lasted just 32000 miles. Awful car.
